About Todd Strange
Todd Strange is a manager.
Todd Strange has experience managing hundreds of employees as former president, CEO and co-owner of Blount Strange Automotive Group. When they sold the company in 2000, it had annual revenues of more than $180 million and accounted for almost half of the new and used car sales in Montgomery.
Todd Strange knows how to work for the people with local, state and federal governments to get development projects off of the conference table and into the economy.
In 2001, Todd Strange became director of the Alabama Development Office. During his tenure at the ADO, he collaborated on many efforts that brought major industries to Alabama, including the Hyundai manufacturing facility here in Montgomery. Hyundai and its suppliers have added more than 10,000 jobs to the River Region and continue to attract related industry to the area.
In 2004, Todd Strange was elected County Commissioner for District 1 and was selected Chairman by his fellow commissioners. As chairman, Todd Strange collaborates with all levels of government and private interests to improve the county, providing:

Todd Strange served as chair of the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, president and chairman for the River Region United Way, chairman of the Montgomery Kiwanis Club, chairman of the Metro YMCA and chair of the Riverfront Alliance.
Todd Strange was named YMCA Man of the Year and the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama’s Volunteer of the Year.
Personal
Todd Strange grew up in Mobile and graduated from the University of Montevallo, where he met his wife of 42 years, the former Linda Davis of Dothan. They have two daughters, Jennifer Strange Crumpton and Elizabeth Strange Burt, and five grandchildren.
